The SX1308 is a current-mode, non-synchronous boost (step-up) converter. It uses an internal N-channel MOSFET switch operating at 1.2 MHz to store energy in an inductor during each switching cycle and release it at a higher voltage to the output capacitor. The onboard potentiometer adjusts the resistor divider in the feedback network, allowing you to set the output voltage.
