How It Works

The SX1308 is a current-mode, non-synchronous boost (step-up) converter. It uses an internal N-channel MOSFET switch operating at 1.2 MHz to store energy in an inductor during each switching cycle and release it at a higher voltage to the output capacitor. The onboard potentiometer adjusts the resistor divider in the feedback network, allowing you to set the output voltage. Simply connect your DC input source to the IN+/IN- pins, adjust the potentiometer to your desired output voltage (measure with a multimeter), and connect your load to the OUT+/OUT- pins.
